The catalysis community of Korea, backed up by experiences in organizing the 11th International Zeolite Conference and the First Asia-Pacific Catalysis Congress in late 90's, wishes to host the XIV ICC in Seoul, Korea in July, 2008 (Dates subject to discussion with the IACS council). The highest priority will be given to maintain the standard of scientific program, accommodating the diverse interests of the participants.

Emphases will be placed on the following two special programs organized to promote the contribution of catalysis technology to the sustained development of future society.

● Emerging innovations to solve problems of the future society (Key Technology)
● Collaborative research between academia and industry (Technology Mart)

Programs will be arranged to connect scholars of selected areas with industries for their future cooperation. Pre- and post-Conference courses/symposia will be organized together with sightseeing trips to neighboring China/Japan. Memorable cultural/tour programs of our own, in the land of morning calm, will be arranged with professional care as well.
